Lone Star Cutting Solutions began with a problem and the drive to solve it.
In the early 2000s, Daniel Berry needed precise parts cut without damaging the material underneath. After struggling to find a supplier who could meet his standards, he did what any seasoned machine builder would do: he built his own.
That project marked the beginning of a deeper journey. Working alongside co-founder John Johnson, Berry went through multiple design revisions and innovations, refining a CNC system that could offer accuracy, reliability, and value.
Their work evolved into ezRouter—a company rooted in smart engineering and customer-first thinking.
Over the years, the team expanded, production scaled up, and new technologies were added. As demand grew and machines became more advanced, so did the company’s mission.
What started as a one-off solution became a national operation building purpose-built machines for job shops, manufacturers, educators, and fabricators across the U.S.
Today, Lone Star Cutting Solutions continues to carry that legacy forward—designing and building high-performance CNC plasma, router, waterjet, and welding systems that integrate seamlessly into each customer’s workflow.
Every machine is built in Texas and backed by U.S.-based service and support that puts long-term relationships over short-term sales.
